The Xguest facility builds up considerable security by providing a console where one can log onto without any password, and basically connect to the INTERNET and use basic functions.
Any changes to the configuration, files created etc., will not survive a log out.
To install Xguest,
#yum install xguest
for rpm based distros
#apt-get install xguest
for deb based distros
Xguest may raise serious security concerns if not configured properly, so please make sure that you have configured IPtables and other security features correctly.
Also, I have tested this only with Fedora 12, and couldn’t find the source or rpm to use with openSUSE.
